Supported by the Methodist doctrine, the Garden Ministry makes all efforts to be green, support the environment, and encourage gardening. It also provides a ministry for members and non-members, who enjoy gardening to participate, educate, teach and learn.
The Garden Ministry began in 2008 with an idea from the Landscape Committee and support from Rev. Ann Willett. The group currently has 16 members on the roster and is always open to more. It is a self-supporting ministry, holding plant sales and accepting donations and memorials to cover expenses.
