Registration opens Aug 28. For classes with books, on-time registration ends ONE WEEK PRIOR to class start. Participants who register after that date will receive books as they are available.

Text: The Names of God by Ann Spangler Description: The Bible reveals many fascinating names and titles for God that can yield rich insights for one's spiritual journey. Naming in the ancient world functioned differently than in today's context because the names for anything perceived as Divine had both a cultural aspect as well as an identifying characteristic of the nature of God. Twenty six names and titles in both the Old and new testaments will be identified. Group discussion, presentations, and home study questions will be a part of this study. Sacred RhythmsDates: Begins Sept 20 Text: Sacred Rhythms: Arranging Our Lives for Spiritual Transformation by Ruth Haley Barton Description: The desire to want God in our life is the beginning of our intentional journey of faith. Connecting our deepest desires with God's transforming love allows those changes that only God can bring about. Our desires shape our actions and choices. Choosing basic spiritual practices, trying them on "for size," discussing what helps us deepen this relationship we can have with God is the focus of this 11 week book study.
