The journey of faith that begins with baptism is supported by the nurturing fellowship of a caring, learning, worshipping, serving congregation. Baptism is a necessary step for church membership as it is the "entrance into the body of Christ," who is the church. In this class you will learn more about the meaning of the sacrament of baptism and how we, as a United Methodist church family, uphold and support newly baptized Christians of all ages. Baptism may take place at any age and stage of one's life. If you have not been baptized and God is leading you to this decision for yourself or your loved ones, FUMCR seeks to be a part of this important step in your spiritual life.
