Ark House - A ministry of FUMCR that provides fully furnished apartments for $15 a night to persons (and/or their caregivers) who have come to Dallas for long-term medical care. (CARD)
Body and Soul - A ministry of FUMCR to the homeless in downtown Dallas. A share provides a hot meal to be served to one person on Sunday afternoon. (CARD)
Clean Water - This gift of hope supports projects that provide access to clean water and healthy sanitation to communities throughout the world. (CARD)
Habitat for Humanity - A ministry that provides quality housing for stable low income families in the Dallas area. (CARD)
Haiti Rebuilding - A ministry of the United Methodist Church that provides structure for rebuilding and recovery in Haiti. Shares will go toward rebuilding projects of the FUMCR work team going to Haiti in March 2012. (CARD)
Heifer International - A ministry that provides livestock and training that will transform the lives of 23 million hungry and impoverished men, women and children. (CARD)
Imagine No Malaria - A ministry of the United Methodist Church focused on eliminating malaria by 2015! This initiative involves prevention, education, communication and treatment in order to fulfill this goal. (CARD)
Maua Methodist Hospital, Kenya - Shares purchased for this ministry will help fund medical bills for orphans, abandoned children and the poorest of the poor in communities surrounding this facility in Kenya. (CARD)
Nueva Vida United Methodist Church - A Hispanic congregation in the Richardson area led by Carlos Nascimento that serves persons from twelve different countries. (CARD)
Skuinkloof Primary School, South Africa - This school currently educates 70 children between the ages of 5 and 13. A team from FUMCR will go to South Africa in July 2012 to work on projects for this school. (CARD)
Susana Wesley Home - The extreme level of poverty in the community of Viamo, Brazil, leads to a high degree of violence in the homes. Susana Wesley Home becomes a haven of hope for girls providing them with counseling, education and socialization. (CARD)
Youth Mission Projects - The youth of FUMCR will travel in the summer of 2012 to do home repairs in Galveston and work projects in New Mexico on the Mescalaro Indian Reservation. (CARD)
