Junior Highers Work Hard, Play Hard

"It was a mix of emotions: the feelings we had for the homeowners - what they had suffered through - and the fun time we had getting to know each other by working and having a good time together."        - Trent Collins, Mission Trip participant

82 7th and 8th graders, along with 12 adults, spent three days scraping and painting houses, working at a food bank, and painting a mural for a neighborhood day care center.  Evenings were spent at the beach, at the movies, playing games, and eating at favorite fast food spots.  Schlitterbahn provided a great day of play after the work days. All came home tired, but pleased with time well spent.
