United Methodist Women's Highlights of 2011

• Chili Luncheon netted $1,000.00, with all proceeds going to UMW missions.
• 43 women attended the annual retreat in March at Prothro Retreat Center.
• 45 circle members and guests attended the Spring Unit circle meeting.
• SPAN and Project Transformation members were treated to dinners.
• "Big Meals For Little Kids" benefited from lunches and books.
• 1000 back to school backpacks to were provided to Network.
• 50 back to school backpacks filled with school supplies were given to Wesley Rankin.
• Money and school supplies were donated to two local schools and Network.
• FUMCR UMW hosted the UMW District Meeting and the Conference School of Christian Missions.
• Refreshments were provdided for the Methodist Hospital Auxiliary meeting.
• Over $25,000.00 was donated to UMW missions.
• 17 new members joined UMW.
• Two successful project parties plus a Drink Mix and Gift Tag sale before Christmas benefited UMW missions.
• 50 Christmas Angel bags were filled and delivered to C C Young Retirement home.
