Eight families attended the class's 7th annual Labor Day weekend retreat at Lakeview Methodist Camp.

Sunday School

We study a variety of Biblically based themes and social issues in order to strengthen our faith and understanding of our Christian heritage with respect to our modern lives. We are self-led, with the aid of videos or books, presentation material, and discussion starters.  Occasionally we have guest teachers.

Current / Upcoming Lessons

  • Jan 8-Feb12: Nov 13: When the Game is Over, It All Goes Back in the Box, John Ortberg video/discussion series
  • Feb 19-Mar 25: Banned Questions About the Bible book discussion

Service

We participate in many of the church's missions.  We gear some special projects to include our children, such as a class shopping trip to purchase items to fill Totebags for the Homeless in December. We have coordinated many fundraisers for Ark House, including 10+ volleyball tournaments, and making and selling candles.
Upcoming Efforts

  • Body and Soul: May 6, Aug 5, Nov 4 (one Sunday per quarter)

Social

We have something for everyone:  men's, women's, and couples' nights out, 4th Sunday lunch out, holiday parties, summer picnic and swimming party, and a Labor Day weekend family retreat.

  • Monthly Lunch Out after class
  • Super Bowl Party, Feb 5

Who We Are
