The Cornerstone Sunday School Class was formed in January 2011.  Our class is a Bible Study class.     

Lessons

May 6 - This Sunday we will begin our study of the Prophets.  The first Sunday will be a preview of the conditions that caused God to send Prophets to ancient Israel.  We will be talking about the Monarchy and the rise and fall of three prominent kings (Saul, David, and Solomon.)  We will examine how God used the Prophets to communicate and direct them.  There are no study books, but it would be helpful to scan 1 and 2 Samuel to familiarize yourself with the events that we will cover.

May 13, May 20, and June 3 we will continue the Prophets study.

There will be no class on Memorial Day weekend, May 27.

Service

 We will actively support the missions of the church.  Possibilities include ARK House, Methodist Home of Waco, Youth Mission Shares, and Body & Soul Soup Kitchen.

Fellowship

We anticipate quarterly social events as well as spontaneous gatherings.
