Welcome!

Life Connections is a fun, casual class made up of people in our 30s and 40s. Most of us are parents with young children. We meet weekly to study the Bible as well as learn about how to strengthen our relationships with friends, family and God. In addition, we gather regularly to participate in potluck dinners, family picnics, nights out, bowling, camping and more. If this sounds like a group you would like to take part in, please visit our class Sundays at 9:45 a.m. in room 205.

We've moved! Join us in our much more spacious classroom -- Room 205.    

Curriculum

We are currently participating in a "Getting Back to the Bible" study of various books in both the Old and New Testaments. Read the selected Scripture before class and come ready to discuss.

Aug. 1 -- Book of Mark
Aug. 8 -- Psalms 1-27
Aug. 15 -- Luke 1-12
Aug. 22 -- Luke 13-24
Aug. 29 -- Proverbs 1-15
Sept. 5 -- Proverbs 16-31
Sept. 12 -- Book of Romans

Sept. 26 -- John 12-21    

Mission and Service

Single Parent Action Network (SPAN) Monthly Dinners: Spend time with children, help clean up, etc. Third Monday of each month except January and July. Contact Joel Brown if you'd like to help.

Buy a Bowl for Body and Soul: The annual Buy a Bowl for Body and Soul Chili Cookoff is scheduled for Nov. 6, 2010. This fun event benefits Body and Soul, a project that provides a weekly hot meal to the homeless in Dallas.
