Young Adult Ministry at FUMCR strives to provide opportunites for adults of ages ranging from the 20's to mid 30's to grow in faith, build authentic relationships, and discover how we all can transform the world.  Young Adult Ministry at FUMCR is not a one size fit all ministry, but a movement of young adults seeking to follow Jesus Christ in the 21st Century.

Coming Up in Class

 Beginning June 3, we will learn more about the disciples in a series based on the book "Twelve Ordinary Men" by John MacArthur.

Young Adults for Christ!  The Revelations class is less than two-years old.  In the last year, we have grown in attendance, faith, service, and fellowship.  We look forward to learning and growing more in our second year, and we hope you are a part of it!

Sunday, June 3rd - Service Project with City of Richardson (painting the outside of a house)  The group will leave after Sunday School Class.

Faith Development

We seek to grow our faith through lessons and discussions each Sunday at 11:00 a.m.

Some of the guys meet on Monday nights at 8:00 p.m. for Men's Bible study.      

Missions and Service

As Christ's followers, we believe we have a responsibility to the world around us, and so we participate in a variety of missions projects throughout the year. 

• Community Service through City of Richardson to help with upkeep of homes ( e.g., yard work & painting) that aren't up to code.
• Habitat for Humanity
• Amigos Days
• Totebag Ministry for the Homeless
• International Christmas Market

Socials

Our group meets regularly for fun and fellowship.

• Bowling, Top Golf, & Whirly Ball
• Christmas Party
• Super Bowl and World Series Watching Parties

RECLAIM

RECLAIM is a new group within the North Texas Conference.  It is a movement of young adults within the United Methodist Church who are committed to reclaim our role and reclaim our mission in order to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.  Check out their Facebook page!
