Financial Peace University
Are you ready to start 2011 with a solid plan for achieving your financial goals?
Start planning now. Attending this 13-week program, based on video presentations by nationally-syndicated radio personality and author Dave Ramsey, will give you the tools to communicate about money, equip you to beat debt and build wealth God's way.
Classes will be held on Tuesday mornings from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m., and begin August 24.
The fee is $99 per person.

FUMCR is changing lives through Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace class. Almost 250 people have participated in one of our 5 sessions of this dynamic, 13-week class. We began this ministry in 2008 and have offered 2 sessions each year. We have been pleased that it also serves as an outreach for our church, as over half of class members have been non-church members from our surrounding community.

I took the class just to see what all of the hype was about. I wasn't in financial trouble, but I figured there's always something that I can learn, and I did! The lessons range from how to get out of debt to how to pick the best insurance for your situation. I also learned a lot from my classmates as we shared stories and ideas.
