Allyson is FUMCR's Director of Children's Ministries.
She is originally from Garland, TX. Allyson has a B.A. in Christian Education from Centenary College of Louisiana and a M.A. in Religious Education from Perkins School of Theology at SMU. Before joining the FUMCR staff, Allyson served at New World UMC, First UMC Garland, Stonebridge UMC and St. Andrew UMC. Allyson's favorite things about FUMCR is its dynamic force that finds so many wanys to spread the gospel. She likes to work with children because she "loves never knowing how they will respond!"
In her spare time she enjoys reading, running (more like walking) and watching TV.
Allyson's favorite scripture is: Psalm 100.
