April is FUMCR's Pastor for Caring Ministries.
She is originally from Queens, New York. April attended Rutgers University and SMU's Perkins School of Theology. Before joining the FUMCR staff, April served at St. Luke "Community" UMC and First Congregational Church, Plano.
April's favorite scripture passage is Lamentations 3: 21-25.
"But this I call to mind,
and therefore I have hope:
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,*
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
'The Lord is my portion,' says my soul,
'therefore I will hope in him.'
