Debra is FUMCR's Executive Associate Pastor.
She is a native Dallasite and attended Bryan Adams High School. She has a BA in Telecommunications with a minor in Business Management from Texas Tech University and a Masters of Divinity from SMU's Perkins School of Theology. Before joining the FUMCR staff, Debra served at New World United Methodist Church in Garland, TX. Debra's favorite thing about FUMCR is the wonderful, faithful and loving people.
Debra is married to Marc and they have two sons, Luke and Jacob. Debra likes to scrapbook, read, travel and play golf.
Her favorite scripture is Psalm 139, the beginning of which follows.
"O Lord, you have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from far away.
You search out my path and my lying down,
and are acquainted with all my ways.
Even before a word is on my tongue,
O Lord, you know it completely.
You hem me in, behind and before,

Jazz, Swing and Country are her favorite music genres. Her favorite movie is Sound of Music. She likes to watch Wheel of Fortune, and she cheers for the Dallas Cowboys. Her favorite food is Spinach Dip at Houston's Restaurant.
