Elizabeth serves as the Director of Inviting and Involving and feels blessed to be in contact with the church's guests and new members. She also serves as part of the Intentional Faith Development Team and works on the Welcome and Grow "people parts" of FUMCR's mission statement.
Elizabeth's favorite things about FUMCR are the representation of various "life stages" among our congregation, as well as the love and compassion freely expressed and shared by the people in this community of faith.
Elizabeth grew up in Dallas, Texas, and attended Texas Christian University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science. She went on to work in science education in a museum setting, school setting and outdoor adventure sport setting. In 2004 Elizabeth became a mom and decided to stay at home for a few years. This time away from the working world opened the door for her to begin fulfilling a childhood dream of being involved and volunteering in the church.
