Kim is FUMCR's Children's Choir Coordinator.
Kim is from Orange County, CA. She attended Lon Morris College and Oklahoma City University. Kim has been the Children's Choir Coordinator since 2003. Her favorite program is Music Makers. "When we started we had about 75 kids and I can remember using a coat rack as my rolling back drop. We have grown to 160 children, and all stops are pulled out when it comes to the sets and props. It is a favorite amongst many children of the church!" she says. Kim also enjoys the annual Children's Choir Christmas program. "There is nothing like the story of Jesus's birth told through song and words of children!" Kim's favorite thing about FUMCR is the great spirit of the people.
Kim is married to Stuart, a Dallas attorney. They have two children, Rachel, 16, who plays the flute and sings in youth choir, and Kyle, who plays basketball and also sings in school and church choir. In her spare time, Kim enjoys singing, exercising, reality TV, musicals, movies and eating out.
Kim's favorite scripture is: Isaiah 40:31.
