Visitation

The church only learns about the needs of our members when we are notified. Please call the church office at 972.235.8385 to notify us when you or a family member is hospitalized, moves to a nursing home or becomes homebound.

Hospital Visitation

Many volunteers are needed for our hospital visitation ministry.  Laity visit hospitalized members on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays. Volunteers share duties with their team members, and each team is assigned two months a year to visit. To become a hospital visitor volunteer, contact the church office.

Nursing Home Visitation

Our Nursing home volunteers regularly visit one or more church members residing in assisted living or nursing homes. We provide friendship and care. If you are interested in serving in this capacity, and in making a new friend, contact the church office.

Homebound Visitation

Due to illness, infirmity or transportation issues, some members are primarily homebound and unable to attend church regularly. Visitors are assigned to telephone or visit one or more homebound members regularly. If you or someone you know is a homebound member desiring a visitor or if you wish to volunteer, contact Coordinator Marie Madden or 972.679.6338.
