Volunteer Opportunities in Caring Ministries

Hospital Visitors

Our hospital visitors serve on teams that take turns visiting our hospitalized members two months per year on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays.

Nursing Home / Assisted Living Visitors

Nursing Home / Assisted Living visitors are assigned a member to visit on a regular basis, forming a relationship and bond.

Homebound Visitors / Callers

These individuals call, visit, and / or assist members who are unable to attend church.

Bereavement Ministries

These volunteers take cookies to serve at receptions or luncheons following funeral or memorial services.

Prayer Ministry

Prayer Ministry volunteers meet every Tuesday morning in the Chapel to lift up confidential prayer in response to prayer requests submitted by members of the congregation as well as area hospital chapels. Prayer time is offered silently on a come-and-go basis.
