Nursery

A professionally staffed nursery is available for infants and toddlers (birth - 23 months) at 8:45, 9:45 & 11 a.m. each Sunday. Pagers are available upon request.

Sunday School

8:45 a.m.: Ages 2 years through 5 years/kindergarten
9:45 a.m.: Ages: 2 years through 6th grade
11 a.m.: Ages 2 years through 1st grade

Sunday Morning Security

All volunteers and paid staff working with children at FUMC Richardson have passed a background check. Pagers are available for any parent but must be coordinated through the nursery information desk.

Infants & Toddlers (birth - 23 months)

Infants and toddlers stay safe because our nursery is self-contained and has only one entrance and exit (in addition to fire exits). The entrance is manned by two volunteers who greet all who enter the area.

Parents are required to fill out a two-part nametag/numbered sticker that also informs the workers of special needs and parent location each hour. Parents must have this security sticker when they pick up their child.

Silent vibrating pagers are available to be checked out at the nursery information desk.

Preschoolers

Parents are required to fill out a two-part nametag/numbered sticker that also informs the workers of special needs and parent location each hour. Parents or guardian must have this security sticker when they pick up their child.

Kindergarten/First Grade

Parents must sign their student in on a clipboard located outside the classroom. Parents must also list their location each hour. Students will remain in class until parents or a guardian comes to retrieve them.

2nd-6th Grade

Parents or guardians must pick up their children unless prior arrangments have been made with the teacher about a student/parent meeting place.
