About Children's Ministry

Purpose

The goal of Children’s Ministries at First United Methodist Church is to provide  children with opportunities to experience God’s love and grace, and begin to identify ways that they may live as faithful disciples in the world. 

Organization

In Children’s Ministry planning and programming decisions are made under the leadership of the Children’s Council, along with the Director and Assistant Director of Children’s Ministries.  The program is designed to communicate fundamental Christian beliefs, pass on the Christian tradition and share the good news of God’s love in a manner that is meaningful to children birth through sixth grade.
