Girls Get Fit

Girls Get Fit is an exercise program for girls (ages 10-14) of all fitness levels.

The program is directed by Jessie Dorsey, a Cooper Institute/YMCA Certified Personal Trainer specializing in child and teen fitness. The program consists of five unique classes that incorporate a wide variety of exercises as well as nutritional counseling. Girls will participate in:

  • Yoga
  • Self-Defense
  • Hip Hop
  • Circuit Training

At the end of the program each girl will have a better sense of commitment and teamwork, increased self-esteem, an understanding of how to set and achieve a fitness goal, and improved physical and mental fitness.
