CROP Walk

The annual Richardson CROP Walk sponsored by Church World Service (Texas) raises money to help eliminate hunger world-wide and here at home. The 5k walk encourages walkers to secure sponsors for their walk. Many Richardson area faith communities, including FUMCR, participate each year to raise money. The money goes to agencies and programs around the world that work to aleviate suffering and hunger situations. Twenty-Five percent of the money raised by this walk goes to the Richardson Network of Community Ministries, an emergency assistance program in the community.
