Body and Soul

missionbodynsoul.jpgBody and Soul Ministry is a program that provides a hot dinner meal each Sunday afternoon to 75-100 homeless persons.

The program operates out of St. Paul UMC in downtown Dallas. Each Sunday rotating cooking teams go to heat and prepare the food. Additional volunteer teams serve the dinner, give a short devotional, and clean up. These volunteers also give out toiletries that our congregation has collected.  As of January 2009, Body & Soul is not serving as St. Paul UMC is undergoing a year-long renovation.  We hope to resume this ministry in the spring of 2010.
