First Inspiration Concert Series 2009-2010

First United Methodist Church Richardson is proud to announce its third year of First Inspiration Concerts.  The music ministry strives to bring meaningful and inspirational music to all who worship in a variety of styles and musical settings.  Whether by bells, voices, brass or strings; and whether contemporary or traditional, our purpose is inspiration.  The First Inspiration Concert Series also seeks to provide musical passion through a variety of artists.

First Inspiration is a unique series of concerts designed to lift the hearts and spirits of all who hear.  From contemporary artists to choirs to bands to orchestras to organ recitals, First Inspiration is a wonderful way for FUMCR to open its doors to an entire community.  All concerts will be performed in the sanctuary.  May all the people be uplifted through music; may all be inspired.

The Richardson Symphony Orchestra and First United Methodist Church Richardson have a long standing relationship.  Many of our church members are patrons of the RSO and many RSO members play in worship and in major concert events at FUMCR.  So, when the RSO decided to play pieces that feature the organ they didn't need to look far.  FUMCR is excited to host this outstanding orchestra for this one night only event.  Come hear...
