"Captain Noah & The One And Only Zoo Cruise for Twos"

Music Makers is a very special music camp designed to provide positive Christian experience for all children entering grades 2 - 7.  The camp is an intense week of choral singing, culminating in the performance of a children's musical.  Come and join us in this wonderful week of music, drama, movement, set building, performance and, as always, an exciting play day. 

  • Music Makers will be presented in two Sunday morning worship services.
  • Music Makers will accept the first 120 children registered.(Grades 3 - 7)
  • Second graders will  be involved with their own Mini Music Makers camp.  They will participate in their own activities and music classes.  Mini Music Makers will work on a few selected songs and will participate in various parts of the musical. Mini Music Makers will accept the first 40 children registered. (2nd Grade)
  • This year's play date will be at Thunderbird Skating Rink on Saturday, July 20 , 12:00 - 2:00 with lunch provided.

WHEN:

Monday, July 14 - Friday, July 18, 9:00  a.m. - noon

Performances:  Sunday, July 20 (9:45 & 11:00 am)

Play Day: Saturday, July 20, 12:00 - 2:00 (Thunderbird Skating Rink)

WHO:

Music Makers is for all children entering grades 2 - 7 next Fall.  You do not have to    be  a member of the church, please bring guests!

COST:

$60.00.  This includes music, supplies, refreshments, t-shirts, CD's and   a fun  play day with lunch provided.

REGISTRATION:

Register online here or in the Children's Ministries office.

Forms will be mailed to all eligible children.  Pick up extra forms at the Welcome Center desk or in the church office.  After you've registered, please be sure to pick up a practice CD in the Children's Ministries office.

Music Makers will accept the first 160 children registered (last year’s Music Makers was filled).

Another exciting Summer Music Experience!

Music Makers 2008Music Makers is a very special music camp designed to provide a positive Christian music experience for children. The camp will be an intense week of choral singing culminating in the performance of a children’s musical. We want all of the children of the church, as well as their friends and guests, to have the opportunity  of participating in this wonderful week of music, drama, movement, set building, performance, and another exciting play day. 

This year's Music Makers is entitled, "Captain Noah and The One and Only Zoo Cruise for Twos".  It is the story of Noah's Ark found in Genesis, Chapter 6.  Please take the time to read this story with your children, as it will make their experience even more meaningful.

We are genuinely excited about this year’s Music Makers. We chose this musical because the songs are so much fun to sing. Ranging from slow, heartfelt songs to fast, energetic songs, Captain Noah ... is, in a word, fun. Blending this fun music and hilarious drama with the wonderful story of Noah's Ark will definitely be enjoyable for all of the kids; not to mention those who come to see them perform. Please don’t hesitate to turn in your forms, as we fully expect to fill up quickly this year.  Also, if you turn your form in to the church, we’ll be able to give you a CD of the entire musical.
