Senior Adult Ministry (Formerly Older Adults Ministry)

Senior members and non-members of FUMCR are invited to participate in the Senior Adult Ministry (formerly Older Adults Ministry).

The Senior Adult Ministry at First United Methodist Church, Richardson, is coordinated by the Senior Adult Council. The Senior Adult Council is an administrative body and clearinghouse for issues relating to senior adults. Reverend Fred Treviño is our Minister to Senior Adults and staff representative to the Senior Adult Council. He may be reached by phone at 972-996-0103 or by e-mail at ftrevino@fumcr.com .

As an important part of the ministry of First United Methodist Richardson, the Senior Adult Ministry provides opportunities for single and couples 60+ to experience friendship, growth in their relationship to God and service in ministry to others. Our goal is to use the depth of life experience of this group to serve those in the church and the community who can derive the greatest benefit from interactions within the group.

We want to encourage participation in settings and events where we can laugh andcelebrate life.

We want to deepen our prayer life, explore God's Word and draw closer to God in this journey we call life.
