First Gathering

All activities in the Family Life Center (FLC) on the Second Monday of each month

  • 9:30 am - 12 noon - Game Time- FLC, 2A - Bring your favorite game or join with others.

  • 9:45 am - Senior Adult Council - FLC, 2B

  • 11:00 am - 12:00 am - Special Educational Program - FLC, 1A

  • 12:15 pm Lunch – Potluck (except on special occasions) - $1 fee - bring a favorite dish to share. - FLC Main Hall

  • 1:00 pm - Entertainment. - FLC Main Hall

First Gathering Trips

 Monthly trips to various activities and points of interest are planned. Day trips use church vehicles while overnight trips use chartered busses. Information is available at First Gathering meetings and in the First Gathering newsletter, The Gazette. Reservations and advance deposits are usually required. First Gathering Newsletter

Is published and mailed monthly with articles of interest and items of information. If you are 60+ and are not receiving this newsletter, please call the church office at 972-235-8385 and ask that your name and address be added to the mailing list. Copies are also available the first two Sundays each month in the pamphlet racks in the Shawver Welcome Center.
