SPAN: Single Parent Action Network

Support Group

Single parents are bravely trying to juggle all of the demands of parenting without adequate resources and the Single Parent Action Network wants to help.

The Single Parent Action Network is here to provide emotional support and resources as you bravely try to be the best parent you can be.  We can’t change the legal system, but we can provide role models of parents who have survived being a single parent. We can’t give you the financial support you need and deserve, but we can help you balance your checkbook and help you see beyond your last $5.00.  We can’t take away your suffering, but we can walk that path with you and give you support when the struggle wears you down.  Come to SPAN and meet other single parents who are on the same journey as you.  The fellowship lets you know that you are not alone.

SPAN (Single Action Network) provides helpful and supportive programs on a monthly basis that will suggest addtional resources for dealing with what life deals you as a single parent.  We serve a hot dinner meal, fellowship with other adults, activities for the kids, and often items to take home that will help you make it through the next several days.  Reservations for dinner are a must - see reservation information elsewhere on this page as well as reservations for child care.
