About Our Group

Fellowship and Fun

We believe that faith encompasses all aspects of our lives, including our play time and fellowship time.  Because of that, our youth ministry makes sure to provide plenty of activities for our youth that include good ole' fashioned fun!  Some of the things we do include:  Ice Cream Socials, Broomball, Laser-tag, Lock-ins, Whirlyball, Pool Parties, Ski Trips and much, much more. . . .

Missions

Whether it is feeding the homeless, visiting our church’s shut-ins or going on mission trips to New Mexico, Galveston, Appalachia or some other location, there are countless opportunities throughout the year, for our youth to learn what it means to be “Servants in Christ.”

Rethinking Sunday School

Service Projects: All grades will create, develop, and implement a service project. This can range from making prayer blankets, writing letters to soliders, shoe drives, to going out into the community and doing something for those in need.

Grade Outings: During the school year, each week, a senior high (9th -12th grade) class will go off campus for Sunday school. The youth will still meet in their respective Sunday school classrooms, take attendance, and collect offering. They will leave campus to go to a nearby Starbucks, McDonald's, or Taco Cabana around 10 am and return by 11 am.
