Take time to browse through our various ministries, and you will discover imperfect people striving to know more about God and to make a difference in our community and world. We would love for you to visit a worship service and see first hand what we are all about. We may appear like a big church on the outside, but we really have a friendly, small-church feel. Yet we are large enough to offer an array of ministries for all ages and stages of life. Come and see what God is doing at FUMCR!

Frequently Asked Questions
What should I expect on a first visit?
Our parking lot is tended by golf cart greeters who can provide rides or assure you are headed in the right direction. At main doors and inside, greeters wearing red sashes with the word "Welcome" embroidered on them will welcome you with a warm smile and answer any questions you may have. A lobby area outside the sanctuary has couches, a coffee bar and a welcome desk staffed by volunteers, also wearing red welcome sashes, who are happy to answer questions or help you find your destination.
Where should I go if I have a question or need information?
Volunteers at the three Welcome Centers on campus (Shawver Welcome Center outside sanctuary, Education Center main entrance and Bartula Family Life Center lobby) are available to answer your questions and help you find your way to worship, Sunday school classes, child care and many others.
Greeters wearing red welcome sashes can assist you.
If you are looking for a specific event, media monitors throughout the hallways list all the activities in the life of our church.
What should I wear?
The majority of our congregation dresses business casual for worship on Sunday mornings. However, on any given Sunday, you will see people attending worship in attire ranging from shorts and t-shirts to a dress or suit. You are welcome to come just as you are.
