Congregational Care at First United Methodist Church Richardson facilitates wholeness of body, mind, spirit and relationships of all persons committed to our care. At the left are just a few of the ways we care for one another at FUMCR.
The church only learns about the needs of our members when we are notified. Please call the church office at 972.235.8385 to notify us when you or a family member is hospitalized, moves to a nursing home, becomes homebound, or has another change in their needs.
Those who are troubled, ill, facing life changes, or feeling lost may get counseling, advice or referral to community resources by our professional staff.
Christian caring is also practiced by the congregation in volunteer programs and individually as followers of Christ. Reach out to us. We will reach to you.
A pastor is on call after regular office hours for emergency care. To reach a pastor after hours, dial the main church number, 972.235.8385 and press “0” to reach the answering service.
Caring Ministry programs, groups, and people are here so that indivuals may RECEIVE care in times of trouble.
It takes many volunteers to keep our programs strong and healthy.
Would you consider enriching your own faith by being a care GIVER?
