What about “Christian themes” such as forgiveness, love, compassion, and apocalyptic visions of the end of the world, how are these themes treated in popular films? These and many other questions will be explored in the “Faith and Film” series in which we will watch clips from different movies and discuss them in light of the biblical narrative.

In all of them, Jesus is trying to teach them something about what God is like and how to experience the reign of God in a new way in the person and ministry of Jesus.
