FUMCR is honored to partner with Austin Street Center, one of Dallas' largest organizations serving those facing homelessness, for the current season of our More Than Sunday podcast. We're excited to offer this opportunity to our congregation to get to know and serve Austin Street as we further our connection.

Two shifts are available, both with 30 minutes built in for a tour and questions: 9:30 am - 12 noon and 1-3:30 pm. Volunteers will select service opportunities such as helping in the clothing room, sorting donations, assisting with facility enhancement, doing work in the garden (depending on the weather), and interacting with clients (play games, have conversations, etc.). 

Children and youth are welcome to participate with a guardian present. 

Please complete a waiver Adult/  Minor and bring it with you to Austin Street.

Register by April 19

Wear comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes. 

Austin Street Center is located at 1717 Jeffries Street, E107, Dallas, TX 75226. Parking is available on site at no cost.
