January 21-23, 2016 - THIS CLASS IS NOW FULL!
This workshop for 5th and 6th graders is designed to present information about adolescence, human sexuality, and being created in the image of God.
- Parents meet with the facilitators on Thursday, January 21, from 7-8:30 pm.
- Students meet with facilitators and small group leaders Friday, January 22, from 7-9 pm and again on Saturday, January 23, from 9 am until 3:30 pm.
- Parents return on Saturday at 2:00 for a parents-only session before joining the students for a closing worship experience.
The course is facilitated by Cheryl Bishop, Director of Children’s Ministries at FUMCR, and Kim Meyers, Minister to Children and Families at St. Andrew UMC in Plano.
$40 includes student book, snacks, and lunch on Saturday. Registration is required and will open on Dec 1.
