We are looking for caring adults to serve as Prayer Partners for our 2025–2026 Confirmation class. This is a meaningful opportunity to walk alongside a young person in their faith, offering inspiration and spiritual support throughout their confirmation journey.  
 
Prayer Partners are paired with a confirmand to provide consistent encouragement, prayer, and a compassionate adult presence throughout the confirmation year (Sept–Apr).
 
They support their confirmand spiritually by praying for them and sending three letters of encouragement: 
- The first letter is given at the start of the confirmation journey (Sept). 
- The second is shared at the halfway point (Dec/Jan). 
- The final letter is presented at the Confirmation Worship Service (Apr 11, 2027). 

Prayer Partners are also invited to attend key moments in the confirmation process including the first confirmation class, the Confirmation Brunch, and the Confirmation Worship Service. These shared experiences offer meaningful opportunities to celebrate and walk alongside the confirmand as they affirm their faith and become members of FUMCR. 

Important Dates: 
- Sept 13, 2026, 9:45am – Confirmation Classes Begin 
- Apr 11, 2027, 9:45am – Confirmation Brunch 
- Apr 11, 2027, 5pm – Confirmation Worship Service
