Youth Ministry

All are welcome here

Our goal is to provide an environment where youth feel comfortable to be themselves and open to what God has in store for them. We want to walk alongside them as they discover, develop, and own their faith; experience God's grace; and engage the world to share God's love.

Sunday Mornings

9:45-10:45am  •  Bartula Family Life Center, 2nd Floor

Sunday School

7th-12th graders  •  Year Round

Participating in Sunday school each week plays a vital role in helping to build a solid foundation for the faith journey of our youth.

We gather first as a large group in our worship space, then divide into high school and junior high classes.

Families are encouraged to worship together before or after Sunday school.

Confirmation

7th graders  •  Sept-Apr

Seventh graders learn the fundamentals of the Christian faith and United Methodist history with the goal of growing more like Christ, loving God, and loving our neighbors in all that we do. Mission opportunities, church visits, and a late-night event allow the group to have fun, learn, and serve together.

Sunday Evenings

UMYF

5:30-7:30pm  •  7th-12th graders  •  Resuming Sept 8
Bartula Family Life Center

United Methodist Youth Fellowship (aka "Youth") is a great time to come together as a group to play, sing, learn, and pray together. Snack Supper is served at each UMYF gathering.

Our youth group is a place where youth can come, just as they are, and discover together how awesome our God is through fellowship, worship, and open, honest discussions about teenage life, pressures, and culture.

Youth Choirs

Before UMYF  •  7th-12th graders  •  Aug-May
Orr Music Suite

The Journey Youth Choir rehearses from 4-5:15pm and sings most Sunday mornings in 8:45am worship.

The Bells of Bronze (BOB) handbell choir rehearses from 3-4pm and plays occassionally in traditional worship services.
