10 Saturdays, Mar 14 - May 30 (not meeting Apr 4, May 23)

Volunteers needed each Saturday for 10 weeks to help with the building of a house. Tasks vary depending on the stage of construction for the build sites. The days with the biggest need are March 14 and 28. Those are the days the walls go up and the trusses go on the roof.

All skill levels — from willing learner to professional builder — are welcome. Just come out with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. Volunteers who are 16 or 17 must be accompanied by a parent/ guardian who will also be volunteering that day.

A bus from FUMCR will leave at 7:30am each Saturday morning. Volunteers may drive separately but there is limited parking on site. The house address is 222 Fielding Dr, Mesquite, TX 75149.
