10 Saturdays, Mar 28-June 13 (Not Meeting April 19, May 23)

Volunteers needed each Saturday for 10 weeks to help with the building of a house. Tasks vary depending on the stage of construction for the build sites. Highest-need dates are Mar 28 and Apr 18, when the trusses and roofing go up.

All skill levels — from willing learner to professional builder — are welcome. Just come out with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. Volunteers who are 16 or 17 must be accompanied by a parent/ guardian who will also be volunteering that day.

A bus from FUMCR will leave at 7:30am each Saturday morning. Volunteers may drive separately but there is limited parking on site. The house address is 222 Fielding Dr, Mesquite, TX 75149.
