Autumn Renewal

Oct 6-7, Prothro Center

Senior Adults are invited to a fall retreat for rest, recharging, and rejuvenation!

Option 1 (overnight + 3 meals):
Arrive at the Prothro Center on Monday, Oct 6, at 2pm. Relax and enjoy fellowship, nature at the beautiful center on Lake Texoma, dinner in the dining room, and your choice of evening activity. Tuesday breakfast will be served at 8am. The remainder of the retreat itinerary is listed under Option 2.

Cost per person for one night's lodging and three meals: $108 double occupancy, $164 single occupancy , add $5 if riding the bus. Note: Single rooms are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The bus has 14 seats and will leave First Center on Monday at 1pm.

Option 2 (one day including lunch):
Arrive at the Prothro Center at 9am on Tuesday, Oct 7.
The retreat will begin with Morning Watch at 9:30am followed by a presentation by Chris Anderson, Associate Professor of Sacred Music at SMU, on The Wesley Contribution to UMC Music. We'll enjoy lunch together and a photo session then Dave Lieber, "The Watchdog" investigative columnist for the Dallas Morning News, will present "If a New Yorker Can Make it in Texas, Imagine What You Can Do!" The event will be filled with music and conclude with a communion service led by Rev. Julia Castleman. Departure will be at 4pm.

Cost per person to cover the Prothro day fee and one meal: $28, add $5 if riding the bus.
The bus has 14 seats and will leave First Center on Tuesday at 8am.
