And the king will answer them, “Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.” - Matthew 25:40

Join a team that cleans the buses, keeps the gas tanks full, checks the tires, checks the fluids and does minor repair work on a weekly basis every Tuesday morning starting between 8:30 and 9 (right after Men's Tuesday Morning Bible Study).  Our vehicles are some people's first impression of our church. Help us keep them safe and sparkling!

503 Pioneers

Contact: , 972.996.0124

Begun in 1998 when the church purchased four additional acres adjacent to First Center on Custer Road, and as a precursor to purchasing the 14.5 acres for our current campus, this group of volunteers started to "care" for the 22.5 acres of land the church now owns. Since the group was "pioneering" into a new land and the address was going to be 503 North Central Expressway, they called themselves the 503 Pioneers. A portion of one of the First Center buildings was converted to a maintenance room, equipment was purchased, and the 503 Pioneers were off and running.

The primary function now is the upkeep of 8 acres of land across Custer from the main campus, with a "good neighbor" spirit to maintain the land as an asset to the neighborhood. The bulk of the work is accomplished on Thursday mornings, and an occasional Saturday work day rounds out the commitment.

Changing light bulbs, hanging pictures, touching up paint and other simple facility maintenance all happen on Monday mornings thanks to this dedicated group who could always use additional people.
