About Our Group for Men & Women

This group is a mix of singles and couples who are in their 40's plus.  This group primarily worships in Access at 5pm and meets following the service.  We love to do our service projects and strive for 100% participation from the group.

Ron Bookman and Connie Wilcoxen and Vickie and Steve Tesmer

 Ron Bookman is single, in his 50’s. He has been a member at FUMCR for 3 years and worships at the contemporary service, Access, on Sunday evenings.

Connie Wilcoxen and her husband Duane celebrated their 21st anniversary last year and have a wonderful son named Mason who is 14 years old.  They were members with First United Methodist Church in Plano before transferring to FUMCR two years ago.  Connie has been a Residential Realtor for 15 years and has been an active member of the PTA throughout Mason's school years.  Connie and Mason are actively involved in Young Men's Service League.  She enjoys anything outdoors along with music, reading and their pets.  The most adventurous thing she's done so far is perform a tandem jump at 10,000 ft. from an airplane!

 Vickie and Steve have been married for 40 years and have one married daughter and a grand-puppy.  Steve is the drummer for classic rock and roll band Mapleshade.  Vickie in addition to being a roadie for Steve's band, loves to read, be outdoors and spend time with friends and family.  Vickie and Steve attend the Sunday evening Access service.
