New to Gardening or Tomato Growing?

Expand your “work from home” to include “grow at home” with a beginner's kit and a 45-minute session with Bodie Pyndus, "the tomato man."

Sessions will be offered on Saturday, March 20, at 9:30 and 10:30 am outside next to the greenhouse.

The beginner's kit is $15 and includes a pot, soil, and a plant suited to growing in a pot. Bodie's session will get you started and provide tips for growing great tomatoes. Additional plants may be purchased at $4 each. Masks and physical distancing will be maintained. Max. 20 participants per session. Registration required.

For 12 years the Garden Ministry has grown tomato plants from seed, offered them to our church members, and grown them in our church garden to donate the fruit to the Network of Community Ministries food bank. Our home grown tomatoes made up a nice portion of the 1700 pounds of produce we donated in 2020.
