FUMCR is honored to host the laity session and opening worship on Sunday, June 8, and ordination worship on Monday, June 9, for the Horizon Texas Annual Conference. To extend our signature hospitality to our guests, we're asking for volunteers to serve in a variety of roles - parking lot attendants, greeters, ushers, floaters, and more. Whether you can serve a little or a lot, we have a spot for you. We truly are better together!

Each year, the annual conference brings together clergy and lay members from the United Methodist Churches in our region to gather to worship, learn, pray, and proclaim what it means to truly be the church. The weekday sessions will be held at SMU. During the ordination service, our own Julia Castleman will be commissioned as a provisional elder and Scott Luginbill be recognized as an associate member. Natalie Nenovich is now a certified candidate on the path towards ordination as a deacon.
