Project Transformation Summer Reading
8:50 am - 12 noon
June 27-30 at Elmwood UMC and July 18-21 at Grace UMC
Volunteers listen to and help elementary age children with reading and comprehension skills. Transportation both ways to the reading sites is provided each week.
Volunteers, age 18 and older, must complete the Ministry Safe in order to participate. If you have completed it within the last two years you don't have to repeat it. Teen volunteers must have completed the 8th grade. Sign up is at the Shawver Welcome Center information desk on Sundays and during the week in the main office. Ministry Safe applications will be available when you sign up.
