Summer Bible Study
Stories of Courage, Failure and New Hope
Wednesdays, July 10 - Aug 7, 6:30-8 pm, Ogden Fellowship Hall
Led by Rev. Fred Treviño
Each of the five sessions will look at a different story about Simon Peter. All are invitations to be real, honest, forthright, courageous, as well as hopeful.
With God there is always a new beginning - always - no matter how often we have been warned about "cheap grace." God through Christ is ready to give us grace and invite us back into discipleship, if need be, even on a daily or hourly basis.
Each session will begin with great hymn singing with Betty Sue Hall at the piano. Kate Jones will offer some special music related to the texts for each session.
Study outlines will be available in the church office and at the Shawver Welcome Center on Sundays beginning June 9.
