Group Life: Laughing with God’s People
Wed • Oct 1, 8, 15, 22 • 4-5pm • TBD
About Our Group for Men & Women
Join us for a joyful journey through Scripture as we discover the often-overlooked humor woven throughout the Bible. From Abraham’s laughter to Jesus’s clever wordplay, you’ll see how biblical writers, prophets, and Jesus himself used irony, satire, and wit to communicate deep spiritual truths. Together, we’ll explore comedic elements in parables, prophetic literature, and wisdom texts—gaining a fresh perspective on how humor bridges the human experience and divine revelation, making sacred truths both memorable and accessible.
Come ready to laugh, learn, and be surprised by the joy in God’s Word.
