As finals approach, we love taking time to remind our college students how much their church family cares for them! Join us for FUMCR’s annual College Care Package Party, a fun evening where parents come together to pack boxes filled with encouragement, snacks, and small gifts for our students away at school.

We will provide everything you need to get started including boxes, cards from the church, and a few starter items. We simply ask each parent to bring around 10 identical items to share with others (for example, 10 bags of popcorn, 10 pens, or 10 packets of tea). When everyone contributes a little, we create something wonderful together for every student!

This is a come-and-go event.

If you cannot attend in person but still want your student to receive a care package, contact Julia Castleman at jcastleman@fumcr.com and we will make sure they are included.

Please spread the word and invite other parents of college students to join in. We have plenty of boxes to fill and would love to include as many families as possible. Together, let’s send a little bit of FUMCR love and support to our students as they head into finals!
